From the moment she could hold a paintbrush—while still in a highchair—Adrianna has had a deep passion for art. Her journey has taken her across Canada, through cities like Barrie, Ottawa, Edmonton, Calgary, and Nanaimo, before settling in Port Alberni in 2021—the place she now calls home. Though she briefly studied Fine Arts at the University of Ottawa, financial and mental health challenges led her to a self-taught path. Guided by curiosity, experimentation, and YouTube tutorials, she’s developed a fearless, uncategorized style. Adrianna now works from her home studio and back deck, accompanied by her cats. After careers as a personal trainer and a paint sales rep for Sherwin-Williams, she committed fully to art in 2021. Her days are filled with painting, doodling, experimenting with new mediums, and leading playful watercolour workshops. Her work spans all subjects and styles, though themes like volcanoes, surreal landscapes, and dreamlike scenes recur. Inspired by life, nature, and fellow artists, Adrianna finds joy in creative connection. Outside of art, she loves choreography, strength training, kettlebells, and hiking (well, more like running up mountains). She also loves to create tiny souvenirs, if you’re looking for a special gift give her a shout!
