My interest in and talent for art emerged naturally in my younger years. Family and vocation brought an extended hiatus to my art. These included serving pastoral and campus Christian missions on the Island and in Winnipeg, and commitments to teaching practical theology modules overseas in Ukraine, Armenia, the Netherlands, and Haiti. Upon retiring, my art interests were rekindled. The colours and rhythms of landscapes, seascapes, and village scenes intrigue me. My favourite subject matter remains the West Coast. Now living in Nanaimo with my wife and close to our family, I am committed to becoming an artist.
