I moved to the Valley from North Vancouver in 2017. I have had a strong connection to the arts from a very young age as a child of dancers and whose father went on to become a prolific wood carver.

In the 1990’s I fronted an alternative rock band in Vancouver and spent many years collaborating musically with other songwriters. A latecomer to university, I fell in love with literature in my 30’s and became a schoolteacher in my 40’s. During the pandemic, I wrote my first novel and fell in love with pottery and handbuilding in clay. My latest love is of drawing and painting.
