| I have been interested in painting for many years. Through the years I have been able to practice my art interests in an intermittent basis as the pressures of work and family have taken up my time. Since retirement I have been able to focus more on my art interests. My medium is primarily pen and ink with watercolour wash and have recently included coloured pencil as well. Landscape is my primary interest with trying to capture the feel of our travels as well as capturing the essence of our west Coast and the forests around us. I have taken many workshops offered both in Port Alberni and in the Parksville, Qualicum area. I have also lead workshops in watercolour and coloured pencil techniques. |
