I’m a secluded soul who loves to draw mice from the gentle time of Beatrix Potter. I share my home with a bear and a cougar (who have been thinning out our dear cat hoard) and with the much-loved live-in raccoons. Nature is my great love: flowers, bees, hummingbirds, and everything wild that man keeps beating down. I know nature can be hard, but that’s different from the diligent slaughter and ego that people bring to it. My art comes from imagining a life that isn’t, and likely never was.
I’ve mostly given up on sharing online, since the world feels so devious now, but I’d love to hear from you by email: eaglingeye@hotmail.com. I can’t draw just anything, but if you share an idea, I’ll bring it to life in my own style: innocent, sweet, dear, and anthropomorphic, all the things the world has closed its eyes to in dismay. Dismal, I know, but hey, I haven’t cut off an ear yet!
