About the Visual Arts Co-Op Project

The Arts Council is supporting the establishment of an artist co-op to develop an artist run gallery in Port Alberni. This project is currently in it’s infancy.

The idea was first formed at an Artist Roundtable, hosted by the Alberni Arts council. See the results of the first roundtable here.

A secondary discussion was had at the second Artist Roundtable, establishing the next steps. See the results of the second roundtable here.

The first stage of this project is to establish leadership for the co-op.
