The Alberni Arts Council is excited to announce the 2026 Alberni Valley Family Arts Festival! This free to attend festival will take place on Family Day weekend, February, 14th & 15th, from 10AM – 2PM. This community event will be hosted indoors at the Glenwood Center, with a whole host of activities and entertainment suitable for all ages and abilities! 

We will be hosting free art-making, performances, activities, and other opportunities for local vendors, authors, performers and creatives to come take part, sell their work, or host a fun activity/demo of their own! This festival is a true coming together of the entire community, where we are encouraging any and all child and youth service groups to join us on this day. 

This event needs the help of our amazing community to truly make it a success. There are many parts to making an event successful, whether you’re solely interested in being a part of the planning stages, behind the scenes of the event, or volunteering to be at the festival itself, we will find tasks that are best suited for you and your schedule!
