Call for Artisans: 2025 Mistletoe Market at the Grove Gallery
The Community Arts Council of the Alberni Valley is now accepting applications for our annual Mistletoe Market! Held at the Grove Gallery in the heart of the Harbour Quay, this beloved holiday event welcomes hundreds of shoppers each year in search of unique, locally crafted gifts. It’s more than just a market—it’s a celebration of community creativity, especially during the Harbour Quay Light-Up, one of the most festive nights of the year.
We’re looking for talented local artisans to join us for the 2025 season! Do you create beautiful items such as:
- Unique hand crafted gifts or souvenirs
- Art cards or original artworks
- Jewelry or textiles
- Handmade home décor or holiday ornaments
- Soaps, bath products, or other creative, hand-crafted goods?
Whether your creations are holiday-themed or simply one-of-a-kind treasures, we want to hear from you.
Please note: we are not accepting any food items, including baked goods, preserves, or pickles.
Why participate?
The Mistletoe Market is a fantastic opportunity to have your work showcased and sold at a professional venue with high foot traffic throughout the holiday season. It’s especially convenient for artists and makers who are busy with other markets—we’ll do the selling for you!
Important Dates:
- Inventory Deadline: Saturday, October 25 at 3:00 PM
- Drop off for items and displays: Monday November 10th – Friday November 14th, 10AM – 4PM
- Unsold Work Pick-Up: December 23, January 2 & 3, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Please note: All sellers must agree to the Consignor Agreement, and we encourage submissions that feature original designs and materials. Whether your items are completely handmade or creatively assembled from prefabricated components, originality and craftsmanship are key.
