The Arts Council is currently developing a Strategic Plan for 2026-2029. In this plan, we are reviewing programming, and will be finding ways to create sustainability for our organization. This may mean eliminating and introducing new programming.

But first – we need to hear from our local artists who will be impacted by these changes!

We need your help to answer questions such as… 

• What arts programs do you want to see offered in the future?
• How can the gallery survive with the increasing costs of rent?
• What do you expect the Arts Council to be doing in the next 3 years?

What is a Strategic Plan?

A strategic plan is a  long-term roadmap guiding us towards our goals and vision, developed by our volunteer board of directors and consultants, and informed from the community. Our 3-year strategic plan will help define Alberni Arts purpose and set a clear, achievable path for success.
