Being a member of the Community Arts Council of the Alberni Valley helps our mission to foster an inclusive community of artists and art enthusiasts! Memberships help to support the Arts Council’s initiatives and provides a platform for artists to showcase their work, connect with peers, and access exclusive opportunities. For art lovers, memberships offer a way to engage with the local art scene, enjoy member-only events, and receive discounts on artwork and workshops. The memberships aim to enhance cultural engagement and promote the arts as an integral part of the Alberni Valley’s community life.

- Added to our Monthly Newsletter
- 10% off in-house classes, workshops, children’s programs and items in the Grove Gallery and Gift Shop.
- 20% off items in the Gallery and Gift Shop during December Membership Appreciation Days.
- 10% off local art-supply stores such as Benjamin Moore Paints and Iron Oxide Art Supplies in Nanaimo
- Organizational Memberships receive usage of our boardroom space at a highly discounted rate
Artist Membership Benefits:
- Join our online Artist Directory at alberniarts.com.
- Opportunity to sell artwork in the Grove Gallery gift shop on consignment.
- Take part in our “featured artists” program to be featured on our website, newsletter and social media.

Donate to us!
Your support to the CAC helps us fund kids’ arts programming, events, and exhibitions. Any donation over $20 will be issued a tax receipt.

Sponsor a Young Artist
We’re thrilled to announce our new Donor Program: Sponsor a Young Artist! This initiative allows generous donors like you to sponsor a young, aspiring artist so they can attend our Worldbuilding Workshop series at absolutely no cost.
Your support can open a universe of possibilities for a talented teen, helping them to unleash their creative potential by designing their very own worlds. Each donation will cover the full cost of the workshop series, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder creativity and passion.
