Call for Artists Brings Art to the Rink

–

Alberni Arts is proud to present “Gallery Night at the Dog Pound,” a one-day exhibit that brings art and sport together during the Alberni Valley Bulldogs’ home game on Saturday, November 8th.

The pop-up gallery will be set up on the Multiplex’s upper floor near the concession, in a spacious open area where selected artists will display their work, make sales, and even run live demonstrations. The event is designed to put artists in front of a crowd throughout the evening, greeting visitors as they arrive and promoting their work during the game on the big screen and with giveaways. The exhibit is best suited to artists who have work ready for sale, along with smaller items like cards, prints, and stickers, and who can set up a finished, labelled display.

To apply and to see the entire terms and conditions visit the link here.

The deadline to apply is Thursday, October 23, and with space limited to just four artists, early applications are encouraged.

A huge thank you to the Alberni Valley Bulldogs for partnering with us and bring this event to the community!
