Set sail for an Artsea Fundraiser!

Get ready for a creative evening on the waters of the Alberni Inlet as the Community Arts Council of the Alberni Valley hosts its first-ever “Crafty Cruise” fundraiser. Scheduled for September 20th from 6PM to 9PM, this event promises a blend of artistic flair and breathtaking views aboard the historic Frances Barkley.

This 19+ event is designed not only to raise funds for the CAC but also to offer a memorable experience to spark creativity and fun. A live DJ will spin top tunes while guests indulge in easy-to-do crafts, play fun games with adult face painting and of course, enjoy the scenic beauty! 

The CAC is excited to bring the community together for this event, meant to bring out our inner child. “We are thrilled to offer a creative outlet for people to enjoy while supporting the arts in the Alberni Valley,” said Angela, the administrator for the CAC. “It’s an opportunity for people who may not be familiar with the CAC to get to know us in a casual and fun way. As a non-profit, we run off the support of our community, and the more people supporting us the better we can provide to our local artists both young and old!”

Each ticket, priced at $57.5, includes a drink ticket and pizza, with gluten-free and vegetarian options available to cater to all dietary needs. Tickets are limited and expected to sell out quickly.
